F – FAMILY OF GOD
We recognize the church as the family of God and emphasize three key relationships: intimacy with God, community with other believers, and influence with those who have not yet trusted Christ personally. John 1:12-13; Hebrews 10:24-25; Acts 2:42, 47
We are also dedicated to serving and strengthening individuals, marriages, and families. Genesis 2:18, 22-24; Proverbs 22:6; 2 Timothy 1:5
A – AUTHORITY OF THE BIBLE
The entire Bible is God’s written word, inspired, inerrant, and trustworthy. It is the standard for faith, truth, and living. We communicate the message of the Bible with integrity. Proverbs 30:5a; Hebrews 4:12; 2 Timothy 3:16-17
I – INTENTIONAL SPIRITUAL GROWTH
As devoted followers of Christ, we desire to be continually growing. We seek to obey and apply God’s Word through the power of the Holy Spirit, in community with other believers so that, together, we mature in our walk with Christ. Growing believers spend time in prayer, study God’s Word, know and practice their spiritual gifts, and serve others. Psalm 25:4-5; Romans 12:1-8; Philippians 2:12-13; 2 Peter 3:18
T – TELLING THE GOOD NEWS
We are excited about sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ locally and globally. We delight in telling His story and inviting others to have a personal relationship with Him. Matthew 28:18-20; John 20:21; Acts 1:8; 4:10b-12
H – HEART FOR GOD
We believe that everything in our life flows out of our walk with Christ. Therefore, we value Christ-honoring worship and sincere prayer. We seek to be people of Christ-like character exhibiting integrity, forgiveness, and the fruit of the Spirit. Luke 10:27; Proverbs 4:23; Psalm 100; 1 Thessalonians 5:17; Galatians 5:22-23
